AI/ML Platform

AI/ML Systems Engineering and EW

I design advanced electronic warfare (EW) systems that use custom trained, artificial intelligence-based control systems for SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost) constrained platforms. On the corporate side, I designed and implemented SRC’s first on-premise AI system for engineering teams. I presented my AI-based EW systems at the Navy’s largest AI conference, the Naval Applications of Machine Learning (NAML).

Embedded Hardware and Software Reverse Engineering

As a lifelong tinkerer, I’ve always had an interest in taking things apart. What started as a childhood hobby of disassembling my RC cars to make them faster has evolved into a career in embedded hacking. Over the years, I’ve worked on reverse-engineering systems ranging from sUAS drones to commercial maritime equipment over radio frequency.

Malware/Ransomware Reverse Engineering

At the height of the WannaCry ransomware attacks, I published three papers based on reverse-engineering Windows applications and ransomware from memory to retrieve artifacts and cryptographic keys.

Kinetic AI for Rapid Assessment (KaiRA) is a field-deployable AI system I am currently designing for information-denied environments. KaiRA utilizes multi-sensor data ingestion to rapidly analyze dynamic changes and better inform warfighters. It can ingest data from various sources, such as sUAS, VHF, and UHF sensors, as well as live feeds from Starlink/Starshield, to quickly synthesize changes in an area and relay this information to ATAK systems.
